Dr. Ryan Kohlmeier, DDS

Dr. Kohlmeier is a graduate of the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Emporia State University – Go Hornets!

Dr. Kohlmeier is the owner of Kansas Sleep Solutions and Kohlmeier Dental. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Flint Hills Dental Society. Ryan grew up just down the road from Emporia, in Cottonwood Falls, KS. He and his wife, Tyla, have 3 children – Cade, Cal, and Cora.

Ryan is a member of the 12th Ave Baptist Church and enjoys serving there and in the community. Some of his hobbies include hunting, fishing, woodworking, and simply being outdoors.

Ryan is also an avid sports fan, having had the opportunity to play professional baseball for 8 years, including 2 seasons with the Baltimore Orioles.

Mallory Madden - Sleep Program Manager

Mallory is the Sleep Program Manager for Kansas Sleep Solutions. She walks patients through the entire process from getting patients tested for sleep apnea to the proper oral appliance therapy treatment. She educates and ensures that all patients get the care they need. She strives to ensure that the patient journey is as smooth as possible for each patient. 

Mallory grew up in the mountains of North Carolina before moving to the coast. This is where she met her husband who was stationed there as a naval corpsman. Upon his retirement they returned to his hometown of Emporia. Mallory was a dental assistant for over seventeen years prior to coming to Kansas Sleep Solutions. In that field and in her new position her main joy is patient interaction and ensuring their comfort. 

Being a mother to an energetic two-year-old son keeps her on the run in her free time. She is also a fur-mama to a just as high-energy Australian Shepherd. In the fall you will find her watching football with the family every Sunday and preparing for an exciting hunting season. Mallory also enjoys traveling with her family and experiencing new places together.
